3rd September 2017 – Twelfth Sunday after Trinity
St Andrew’s Church welcomes allcomers, whether this is your first time or thousandth time in church. You are welcome whatever your age, gender, marital status, disability, race or sexuality. You are welcome whether you have a deep and mature faith in Christ; are uncertain and still seeking; or have no faith. If you are new to church, please do take a welcome leaflet to be found in the pews; and do not hesitate to ask one of the welcomers if you have any queries.
Children’s Church and Crèche
Children’s Church opens for the autumn term next Sunday (10th September) with more games, crafts and fun activities based around Bible stories. We leave church to go to the school hall after the first hymn each Sunday during term time (except for the first Sunday in the month). Parents are welcome to join us. We are looking forward to welcoming all our previously registered children as well as some new faces. For more information, please speak to Hilary or Becky.
As of September 1st Emma Wildman took up her role as our new children’s worker. She can be contacted on 07969 066979 or email@example.com.
Our monthly Ignatian service takes place this evening at 6.30pm led by Dawn and Kate. A lovely opportunity for quiet and reflection.
Saturday 9th September, starting at the later time of 2-4pm at Eastern Green Village Hall. It is now 1 week to the fayre, so we need to start requesting help on the day for setting up and managing stalls. We need bric a brac, books, toys unwanted gifts, bottles and chocolate for tombola, cakes, raffle prizes etc. I was thinking of having a produce stall, so if you have an allotment or a veggie patch, we would appreciate any donations. Of anyone wants a table to sell their own crafts, let me know. Most of all we need your support, so please bring friends and family along on the day. Jackie Lynch
