St Andrew’s Church has a variety of Church Services for you to enjoy.
At 10 a.m. each Sunday (except the first Sunday of the month), there is a service of Holy Communion. The service is Common Worship, led by organ and choir, except on the 2nd Sunday when some of the worship is guitar led. Lay ministry is widely encouraged, including preaching, intercessions and reading. The service includes Children’s Church for school aged children and a staffed crèche.
Worship 4 All
This service takes place on the first Sunday of each month. An informal service, lasting approx 45 mins, with band led contemporary worship for all ages. There is a simple theme and a warm welcome for all.
Running every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month all year round and doors still open at 8.45am. If you arrive between 8.45am and 9.30am there will be time for some tea, toast and toys followed by the same style baby/toddler service full of action songs, instruments, a bible story, prayers and ending with a craft activity which ends the service. Tots Praise is a perfect way to introduce babies and toddlers to church whilst sharing such precious times with your little ones. Please note that Tots Praise is having a break for January and February 2020.
Wednesday Morning Communions are at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome to these services which last for 30 minutes and are usually followed by refreshments and fellowship.
St Andy’s Church
St Andy’s Church is St Andrew’s sister congregation that meets every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month at West Coventry Academy at 10.30am. Services have a informal and contemporary feel, and our vision is to reach out with the love of God into the world. We have an age range of 2 months to 82 years and welcome all to join us.
Service of Contemplation (formerly known as Ignatian Spirituality service)
This service provides an opportunity for meditation and exploring aspects of spirituality. Based on the teachings of St Ignatius of Loyola, the service has three distinct sections to it: reflection, fellowship, and contemplation. The service lasts for an hour and is on the first Sunday of each month starting at 6.30 p.m. in Church
Seek His Face
This is a monthly gathering for prophecy, prayer and worship. We meet on the second Sunday of each month at 6.30 p.m. in the church. The meeting is informal, responding to the Spirit and listening to God. Anybody is welcome. The name of the group is taken from 2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
All are welcome to attend our Services – please come and join us !
