We understand that when you’ve lost a loved one, you experience a wide range of emotions, often unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. It may feel as no one could possibly understand what you are going through. But others have been through it, and so there’s no need to be alone. Taking that first step to go out can often be the most important step of all.
We also know that if it’s some time since your loved one died, it may not be any easier. In fact, in some cases, it feels worse than ever. Again, there are people who do understand this and who have time for you.

Is it that time already? The clocks have gone back, the shops have been decorated for Christmas and the merchandise displayed to start us thinking about Christmas. At St Andrew’s we too are preparing for Christmas by holding a four week Advent group and all are welcome. We will meet on Thursday mornings from 10.30-12 noon starting on Thursday 23rd November, and will meet at Rita Muir’s home, 9 Nailcote Avenue, Tile Hill. Among the preparation for Christmas can you make space to meet with others to look at the Bible and think afresh about the meaning of Advent and Christmas.
